The Crystal Monster and the Lunar Dragon

• Criostalun - A smaller shard located in The Province of Nemedobur that has a shallow sea on the surface, and an endless maze of constantly shifting crystal caves below. Also an enormous living creature at its core.
• Isaiah - An anxious human man & one of the Founding Voyagers

• The heroes gather dockside and receive a briefing. The Welmet and The Lady are glitching. Increased activity by the dragon in the new moon orbiting the Welmet. And Criostalun is both dead, and on the move straight towards the Welmet.
• The twelve heroes are split into two groups:
  1. Six to help figure out and repair the glitching Welmet and Lady
  2. Six to help distrct the moon with the Voyagers
• Isaiah will pilot a shuttle between groups

• With the Voyagers piloting, the heroes provoke attacks from Criostalun, doing as much damage as they can, as quickly as possible to create a hole in the shard and attack the heart.
• After much battle, a hole appears in the shard and the heroes are dropped into the heart of Criostalun
• They battle the monstrous, deformed, crystal infected heart, finally defeating it.
• With the heart dead, the shard became more unstable and the gruop fled to regroup with the Voyagers
• Consequences

1. Gutboy got a crystal infected arm. He had it amputated later to avoid further infection.
2. Klarna got an additional crystal infection in their leg.
3. Lith's triceratops Pokey got crystal infected legs.

• All sorts of weird traps and puzzles were left behind by Lee's former friend/partner, Ramsay Blue. The party had to balance sticks, solve logic puzzles, and find things about the Welmet to finally regain control of the Welmet and re-engage its defensive systems.
• Ramsay Blue is totally not the god Masque. We asked and he said no.

• Sensing the fresh blood of the newly hatched baby dragon moon, the Criostlun monster lets out a final shriek and engulfs it, creating a massive, crystal infected dragon monstrosity.
• All groups attack and a hard battle is fought. Highlights include:
  • multiple rounds of people getting bloody crystal goo vomited on them by the dragon
  • Mac's massive wild magic surge that summoned a unicorn
  • Klast riding circles to heal everyone
  • Kip delivering the final blow via fireball

Exhausted, everyone regroups, gets much needed showers and prestidigitations, and rests after a battle well fought.

Kudos to our two DMs who made an AMAZING encounter!

A whimsical sight is displayed. An explosion of blue light surrounds the room you are all in. You find yourselves on a snowy mountaintop overlooking all of the aetherspace. Everything is so small from where you stand. You stand beside a short, humanoid woman who is deathly pale, yet her skin is positively glowing. She breaths ever so softly into the air ahead of you and where there was nothing now floats a small embryotic sac. It is difficult to see, but the very beginnings of a scaled lifeform reside. She then takes pieces of rock from the clifface and surrounds the embryo before pushing it out into the aether. You fly with it as it picks up more and more sediment before stumbling upon a voidspan gate previously unknown to anyone. It has appeared as if by magic. The moon now stumbles unto the doorstep of the welmet, with a visitor upon its back. This small pale woman, waiting to be found. And an older Elven man at her back.
