Steve McSword collects the various party members for what he's pitched as an easy, introductory sample collection mission in Crannathragh's East Sector
The party all meet Meriwether and Ducky, who are doing paper work, get a map of the Shard, and are gearing up to leave
Guinevere mentions Bravo Team hasn't reported back using their Sending Stone or their Sending scroll
She commandeers the party for a search and rescue mission, hoping they'll find survivors but saying it's important to collect any research materials they find if no one is left alive
Guinevere, Soairse, Steve, and the party go to the last known location in the South Sector, a dangerous portion of Crannathragh
Beatrix stumbles into a group of Dagger Blooms, a plant with razor sharp leaves and flowers that occasionally grow into humanoid-adjacent creatures, and the party make short work of them. Samples are collected of the Dagger Blooms
The party moves forward to find a large flower surrounded by violet berries and a sweet smelling pollen that draws Beatrix and Slate closer
Soairse knocks the two party members out of the way before this plant can eat them, though Beatrix later gets swallowed and has to cut her way out
Beatrix names this plant the Ophiorchid and samples are collected of it after it is decapitated during Beatrix's escape
Several samples of the nearby sweet smelling violet-colored berries, that Baila names Baila Berries, are also collected
The party follow a trail, working together to find clues, and locates the mangled corpse of Khiv. The group bury her as well while Baila collects her shield to send back to her family
They then find Corryn's left arm, and Ulfrik's left half from the shoulder to the hip, burying them too and collecting evidence of what happened
A growl and shouting calls their attention, and they follow the sound to find a T-Rex has cornered Micah, Arana, and Imrish in a tree's roots
The party fights the T-Rex, taking it down handily, rescuing the remaining
Voyagers, and bringing them back to the outpost to recover from their injuries
