 Then they played a new game other then dragon twister, the name game, after 3 days and three nights, the copper dragon named them “Lin” Lin liked that name the dragon also told them how to speek common, specifically so Lin could understand some of the jokes they make because there puns that only work in common, and that’s when they just remembered- they’re supposed to be looking for their sibling! They don’t have wings like their dragon friend though … and nowadays there’s many shipwrecks along the coast from the violent plant life irruptIng from the large tropical forests and crashing the ships- that could DEFINITELY work! But they’re mostly all destroyed… the wood planks float though so Lin tied many together making themselves a raft and eventually set off… without any food or supplies not to mention it seems like the ocean itself was throwing Lin back on the island but eventually after enough paddling and evading waves they got out into the ocean… and then promptly got INCREDIBLY bored eventually being picked up by more friendlier pirates that thought they were rescuing a child, a very powerful wizard half orc and tempest cleric … which Lin promptly saw as parental figures since they never had any thing like that before and they took care of Lin… even if Lin had some more disturbing tendencies, usually just pacifying Lin with apple juice, it was the first gift they ever got from anyone, so they enjoy it, they had adventured with the pirates for a long time before eventually despite the captains inability to age, decided he would retire eventually having come to terms with his immortality retired, and so did the rest of the crew, but Lin- also having never aged was still very young and very excited for adventure so after a tearful goodbye Lin set out on more adventures hoping to be as cool as their captain and first mate one day, but after adventure… after adventure… the crowds they fell into got worse and worse, crueler, meaner… people who never really cared for each other and we’re only adventuring for money, sure they were a bit bullied by the paladin back on the ship but it was never this… mean before, never so isolating, and they didn’t know any of the plants here, they didn’t know how to talk to them,  everything was meaner here… that’s when they remembered their sibling- OH NO THEY FORGOT!! How long has it been how could they have forgotten that they were looking for their sibling!! They got so sidetracked with the whole stopping the blood god demon or whatever thing! So Lin turn their focus to finding their long lost… brrotherrr…? No- maybe??? They don’t remember- that’s not important right now they got to get looking!
+Sometimes they keep a diary, that they forget to hide usually although it’s probably best not to look inside because this is the front page

+Lin hasn’t been acting like themselves either, lately they seem a lot more oblivious… peaceful? The once ravenous evil creature child they had grown to look like around a young adult is now… small again, smaller than they were before they turned up in this region… like a nine-year-old almost, and the same mental state of any normal child? Still as powerful as they were before but now with a strange child like innocence like they’ve never been on an adventure before, should we be worried? They’re only eating chicken nuggets now and reacting to things like any normal child?
+But one more thing they are simply INSISTING that their name isn’t Lin and that it has and always has been- link
