Lila de Lucian, a half-elf Order of Scribes wizard, was born long after the Civorean Empire fell, a great pity for a child so studious and gifted. With institutions of learning having fallen with the Empire and her working class family's modest means, she cobbled together a magical education in run-down schoolhouses, half-burned libraries and taverns of ill-repute once she was old enough. When Lila came of age, with aims to continue her magical education throughout the struggling world at large, she began a nomadic existence. Over time, she cultivated a cult-reputation as a nomadic historian of the world post-Empire. Lila spoke to anyone that would engage her travels (the people often disarmed by her innocent, cherubic face and short stature), no matter their background or affiliation. She would find the light and magic still left in the world, uncovering the truth and fostering transparency amongst the people gathered underneath the warlords' banners. Arriving in Glowerwood, Lila voraciously searches for knowledge about the cursed metal, its oppressive power, and the truth behind those that mine it.
