Eldath is a Goddess of peace, water, stillness, and the quiet parts of nature. She is a pacifist with a focus on healing the sick with her blessed waters, bringing peace and serenity to all. Worshippers are often those who seek a quiet life, and those who have pasts troubled by violence or anger may turn to her to help them heal.
She has many different appearances, ranging from an elf, an eladrin, a dryad, a nereid, a sea elf, or a human. Regardless of depiction, she retains a slender build and unearthly grace, a transparency about her body. Her long hair is sometimes dark, sometimes like water or glass, even the greens of the forest or the blues of the ocean. Her eyes, however, are always a deep emerald green, and she wears silky, flowing garments without shoes.
Eldath's clergy is made up of pacifists who avoid conflict more than they try to mediate or prevent it. They know that peace is a value that not everyone has or will accept, and it is not their way to force a way of life on anyone. They do offer their help to anyone who may need it, offering healing or comfort to those who might seek out their assistance. At any formal temple or church, her alter will have a pool of water that worshippers are encouraged to wash their hands in, symbolically washing away their troubles or even the metaphorical blood on their hands.
