• The Hospice of Eilac - The shard that was the site of Aryiah's return from the realm of the Raven Queen. Many believe that Eilac has control over all life and death on this particular shard.
• The Orphans of Aryiah - The descendants of the great Sharar-Kai leader Aryiah.
• Graeae - A great hag who holds powerful sway over the lesser monsters of the entire province of The Road.
• The Empire of Blossoms - A number of satelite shards under the control of the mighty Eladrin navy serve and provide raw materials to feed the wealth and power of Albion, the chief shard of the everliving elves.
• The Fractured Mountain - On this shard, remnants of the Dwarven clans have created an Alliance called “The Pact.” The remaining Dwarves swore themselves to the descendants of Clan Hillsafar. Gutboy's home shard.

• Lith is awakened by three Imperial Marines who have some sort of tracking device that points directly to her location. She transforms into a squirrel and leads them on a chase through Welmet Station.
