Tales of Home
The Inner Planes of existence have been ripped and torn apart into fragments that float like islands hanging in the Aether. These “Shards” of the Feywild, Shadowfell, and Elemental Planes, each with their own alien secrets and adventures, lie just a voidship's voyage from the few remaining points of civilization salvaged from the ruins of the Material Plane. The deities have gone silent. The prayers of the devout are no longer answered by the gods–only the miracles performed by true heroes suggest they still exist.
This is the universe of Tales of Home, the successor to the Hail and Well Met Campaign of 2024. There are Shards to explore and secrets to uncover. What's your character's role in this grand story?
Join your friends Rachel, Cosimo, Declan, and Rew for twelve months of casual sandbox adventures held in the Legendary Tier theme room at the Adventurer’s Academy. Each session of this Open Table style game is a self-contained one shot running in a shared campaign universe that includes all other Tales of Home adventures. New players can join for a single session and have just as much fun as returning veterans.
New Players
Is this your first time playing in a Tales of Home adventure? If so, please bring your own fifth (5th) level character or arrive ten minutes early to choose a pre-generated character. Dice and a miniature to represent your character are welcome but are not required.
Unless you talk with the Dungeon Masters first, please construct your character using only the Player’s Handbook (2024) (“5.5”). Generate Attributes using the point-buy system or use the standard array. Returning players are welcome to play characters from any previous Tales of Home game session, but it's not required.

Open Table
An open table is just that. On each game night, anyone can play because while the campaign world is consistent each game session is self-contained and episodic. Our game masters create exciting and intriguing locations to explore, and the players all decide why their characters are there.
While an open table doesn't necessarily have the focus or intensity of a dedicated campaign with the same player characters each and every week, it gives players a whole lot of freedom to come and go as they wish, encouraging new styles of play.
