Ruled by the self-obsessed Lord Drysdale with a charter from Welmet, this keep is on the border of the civilized world. Everything West of this keep is untamed. It’s true wilderness. Raids on traders have picked up; folks who are coming to the keep to either trade their goods or as missionaries are being kidnapped and ransomed. There is an escalating sense of fear. There’s an evil growing, and everyone within the keep knows it. Ask anyone in the villages of Foxgarden or Rye. This is one of the last bastions of civilization, and the Well-Met heroes venture to the keep to find fame and fortune and their place in the world as adventurers. Over a century ago, the legendary fighter Rogahn the Fearless and the equally mystical Zelligar the Unknown pooled their resources and expertise to construct a home and stronghold for the two of them to use as a base of operations they named Quasqueton. However, the place was never completed and is filled with monstrous and threatening beasts today. Some say it still contains the treasures of the two adventurers.
Since it was cleared out, Quasqueton is the home of Wren,Flynn, and Shenziah.
The nearby Caves of Chaos are set in a strange hollow riddled with natural caves. Over the past one-hundred years, these caves have attracted many undesirables including trollish monstrosities and cults of demonic spirits incarnated into flesh. It would please Lord Drysdale of Restwell Keep if these threats were investigated and neutralized before they do more damage to the peaceful nearby farming villages of Foxgarden and Rye.
Deep within the heart of the Murderous Woods, where shadows dance eerily among the ancient trees, lies the secretive domain of a lizard folk tribe. The woods hide a number of small ruins. These forgotten treasures are relics of an age when elves reigned supreme. Adventure awaits daring souls to brave the darkness and uncover the secrets hidden within the tangled depths of the forest.
A hermit lives just north and east of Foxgarden, a farming village near Restwell Keep. Some say that he is a lunatic madman who is not to be trusted. However, there is a rumor that he is in fact a skilled healer.
