Tortos is played by Andy.
If the name didn't give it away, Tortos is a tortle. He wears a piece of a banner over his shell like a cloak and a plumed helmet (think greek/spartan) when in battle. His fighting gear of choice is his trusty hoplon shield (the big round kind), longsword, and spear to throw at stragglers. Tucked into his pack are his smithing tools.
Tortos served with a regiment called the Ironband Legion for several years before journeying to Aperta-Mundi. During this time he learned of Ornn, a demigod of fire and forge from the northern regions of their current station, that seemingly abandoned the world after befalling some great tragedy. Or so the story goes.
Since becoming a solo act, Tortos has decided to take up the craft of blacksmithing. He stays busy between adventures trying to hone his skills that he might one day produce something worthy of a follower of the forge-ram.
