It hurtles through the Aether toward the Hospice of Eliac and Welmet Station,

The settlements originally pulled together to build the Demiurge include:

• Flaygallows - The former site of the Shadar-Kai fascists prison known as the Vault of Regret
• Gloomwrought - A mercantile powerhouse
• Brickhell - This shard is famous for its fortress-like construction
• Voidhaunt - Known for the libraries including the haunted vaults and the blasphemous stacks; many of those who work and serve here are either voluntarily blind or illiterate
• Umberhowl - Known for the monsters raised in its wide-open jungles and mountain ranges
• Shadowhaven - This small shadow shard is famous for its wine production
