Beatrix is a Harengon ranger/monk that hails from outside the Wellmet Shard System. She specializes in exploring and charting new regions, and acting as a guide or navigator.
Appearance Beatrix is a Harengon with the traits of a wolpertinger, giving her antlers, tusk-like fangs, and small, nonfunctional wings. Her fur is a cream or beige color, with dark brown on extremities such as her paws and ear-tips. She has long lop-ears, which reach about mid-torso.
Background Beatrix comes from a far-off shard that was heavily shrouded in Feywild magics, creating non-euclidean spaces within the forests there. She developed a knack for navigating through these disorienting areas, and provided services as a guide for the travelers, foragers, and explorers of her home. One day however, she accidentally came across an unstable Voidspan Gate, which led to her “falling down a rabbit hole” of a series of gates, ultimately placing her within the Wellmet System. Now, with no clear way of returning home, she dedicates herself to exploring and mapping the unknown regions of the system, while using her expertise to provide services as a courier, forager, or similar roles to make ends meet. One day she hopes to find a method of returning to her home shard.
