imperial_academy_of_albion
The Imperial Academy of Albion is perhaps the Empire's premiere magical storehouse of arcane knowledge spanning back to the times in the Feywild before the Sundering. It is often visited by the ruling class of immortal Eladrin, and the entrance exams alone are known to drive lesser beings to madness. Beware any who seek the Academy's knowledge, because much of what can be learned there are the things that mortals are never meant to know.
Some important personages at the Imperial Academy include:
- Aramil Trunkul - Known by all of the academy’s students, Aramil teaches introductory Albion history. He is known for his staunch support of all official policies and stances of the Albion Empire, and weaves his support deeply into his teachings of history.
- Virkissos of Remnant - Viewed with suspicion by his peers at the school, Virkissos was brought on quickly after the last Summoning teacher was swallowed whole by a rogue Voidspan Gate.
- Laurich the Black - An orcish wizard from Luaighear who specializes in Abjuration magic in wartime. She is famous for protecting the Imperial warship Vingilot as it drove deep into Occulous territory to help destroy a sentient planet. While the mission was considered to be a moderate success, Laurich was never the same and was given a simple job teaching first-circle students at the Imperial Academy after that deployment.
