The Lava Swamp is a shard within the Frost Shepherds that orbits a binary fragment system of the elemental plane of fire and water. During the final stages of the Sundering, a race of creatures made of lava left the volcano now used by Gamma Co., and settled in what is now known as the Lava Swamp. This race was not alone, though, as they encountered and learned to co-exist with a race of mossy swamp creatures. No known sapient race has attempted to colonize this fragment, as the environment proves to be particularly hazardous.
