Major Plot Points

  • The adventurers are given the opportunity to test out new magical technology created by Brixx to explore Riya more than anyone ever has.
  • They begin exploring Riya and are greeted by giant salmon creatures as well as the Giant Yellow Nope (named by Baila).
  • While exploring, they find a dilapidated underwater temple encased in a bubble of air. Upon trying to enter, some of the giant salmon attack the party, grabbing Baila and Keeka in their jaws.
  • Baila and Keeka are saved by their fellow party members, and they all rush inside the temple. Looking out reveals a swarm of salmon block their exit.
  • While exploring the temple, the party awakens some incredibly old humanoid-ish skeletons inside a library and they attack the party. They're narrowly defeated.
  • Whilst trying to read the books with Comprehend Languages, the party discovers that all the “words” inside the walls are gibberish.
  • Travelling further, the party discovered two large hallways with strange distortions and gravity. It appeared as though the temple is much larger on the inside than the outside.
  • With the help of Steve McSword, the explorers manage to open an old Voidspan Gate that seems to lead to nowhere… for now.
  • The group finds a final room defended by two water elementals with an amulet that psychically screams at them.
  • During the fighting with the water elementals, Klarna discovers a new ability with their pact weapon, allowing them to throw it and return it to their hands at will.
  • Morek and Frieda deal with the elementals via some well timed chromatic orbs.
  • Upon taking the amulet, the salmon flee, allowing the party to return to the Welmet and enjoy some much needed rest.
