The Home colonists left behind a portion of the prime material plane that contained the settlement that was used during their last year of preparations. They did not leave anyone behind who did not want to stay, but their equipment and structures were still in usable shape. Some more pioneering adventurers have visited to find that the leftover gear has not gone to waste. Some may have been stolen, but most of it is still in use by a new community looking to survive.
