• Flufflewick - A shard in the province of The Road that is known for its sapient fauna
• Harbor Master Pike - A whimsical ally, famous for his bright yellow overalls
• Whimsicals - The name for outsiders
• Princess Glorianna - The monarch of Flaygallows
• Prince Rebus - The scion of Gloomwrought, another Shadowfell shard
• Wildare the Merchant - The Shadar-Kai merchant who sponsors trips to bring new and colorful things to Flaygallows. He owns the Green Grocery store.

• The Homeshard Heroes arrive at Flaygallows docks on a ship owned by Wildare the Merchant. They find the home and workplace of dockmaster, Pike “banana pants” Woolery lit on fire by a cadre of Malmyrdons who had emerged from a nearby vessel.
• The Malmyrdons call the adventurers “Whimsicals” as an epithet on several occasions.
• As the Malmyrdons are defeated, the adventurers see that the local law shows up. Although they are late, Major Segheath and his majordomo Daesh questioned the adventurers like they were potentially aggressive.
• Harbor Master “bananapants” Pike is smitten with the Homeshard Heroes, and is simply happy to be alive.
• The Homeshard Heroes encounter Prince Rebus who takes them to the Charcoal Square for a late night celebration.
