This section outlines the known timeline of the Raven Queen's madness, the growth of the Shadowfell Fascists, their genocidal attack on the Feywild, and the fallout of that conflict.

• Over two and a half millennia, ago after the Sundering had begun and the planes were just beginning to crack and split, the Raven Queen went mad and turns the armies of the Shadowfell on the Feywild.
• The once bickering warlords of the Shadowfell fell behind a single powerful leader.
• Military bases to train and support troops and magic are mustered.
• The three great blades of the Raven Queen are corrupted to serve these Fascist Warlords.
  • Vesperfang was wielded by General Morax Umbrahand
  • Solon the Wretched carried Kinbane
  • The great blade Goremaw was used to great effect by Grand Marshall Zola the apathetic
• These warlords conquer much of the Feywild easily, slaying the Ash King and destroying all joy.
• The Shadowfell next marches on the material and elemental planes with murderous intent.
• The warlords are joined by the arch-Daeva Ashriel the Mourning Saint.
• Groups of heroes on the Prime Material plane mount a resistance force against this attack, but not before the Feywild is scoured of “undesirables” leaving only the strongest and wealthy. Only the Empire of Blossoms stands as the sole remaining element of the Feywild.
• Eilac takes the Raven Queen's powers and returns her sister Ariyah to life.
• Led by Aryiah, the Warlords of the Shadowfell are cast down. Flaygallows is created by Steve McSword the 21st to try these war criminals and to create a prison for those souls that should never be allowed to leave for the outer planes.

Soon after this period of unrest, the deities of the outer planes fall silent.
