Edgar grew up in the service of the Sinclair family of the Empire of Blossoms. He was told that his family sold his egg to them to pay off their debts. Edgar served House Sinclair as an entertainer of politicians and businessmen. The Sinclair family was one of the lesser houses, and so they often even sold the feathers of the Kenku. Edgar eventually escaped with a Voyager visit.
