This shard holds an ancient fortress built by the Shadowfell Fascists just after the start of the Sundering. it carried great crypts that held undead soldiers of the warlords. It was recently re-awakened by Ashriel. The fortress was captured by the Homeshard Heroes once they defeated the mighty Warden of the Fortress, but not before just about all the resources were mobilized and the Shadowfell Fascists had mobilized their terrible war machines.

One feature of the Fortress is the Tempest Forge where the Homeshard Heroes may use their downtime to create +1 magic weapons.
