• Ashriel the Mourning Saint - A Daeva known in pre-Sundering times as as a Messianic Prophet. He joined the forces of the Shadowfell Fascists becoming one of their most powerful warlords. The Shadowfell Warlords praised his work crushing the peoples of the Feywild and his attacks against the civilized folk of the Prime Material Planes. A war criminal sentenced to the Vault of Regret for eternity, he recently escaped.

• The Homeshard Heroes decide to visit a newly found Space Fortress floating in the Aether. Psithuris has realized that this shard was once dormant but has now somehow come to life and is shining in the night sky.
• The heroes, on board the Celestial Compass hosting a “booze cruise” are literally actively pulled in and swallowed by the Space Fortress. They later learn it is called the Fortress of the Road-Scarred Void.
• The heroes fight off some jelly-like demons launched from a strange bubble voidcraft.
• Proceeding into the fortress, they learn that a small army of revived undead Shadowfell Fascists are now making preparations to re-arm and resupply. They all are engage in the endeavor to “Awaken the Dark Messiah.”
• Roe finds a note left by their mentor Ashriel.
• The heroes discover the warden of the facility. He speaks with the cadence of Ashriel, suggesting that he may have been controlled by the daeva.
• They defeat him, clearing the road for them to take control of the facility.

• The homeshard heroes Lith, Caiel, Val, and Keeka join Rotheon to return to the Space Fortress to search it after the Marshall was defeated.
• They are joined by Isiah and Jack.
• They find the Tempest Forge. Built upon a dead star, its plasma-fueled anvils once ran the Shadowfell war machine. The entire setup springs to life under Rotheon's Aasimar touch.
• Several forge golems fight against the Homeshard Heroes to stop them, but ultimately they win access to the forge. A new downtime to create +1 magic weapons and magic foci will come into play shortly.
